This ganesh statue is a nice color and seems less dull in sheen than the pictured example. It is decently heavy, but is not solid; it is actually partially hollow. As such, the statue is hardly worth (price+shipping) as far as raw materials go.

I am no expert in hand crafted goods and cannot confidently offer an opinion as to whether the statue is actually handmade. I will say that I am largely satisfied with the purchase and would have given 5 stars if it cost less.
